Employment

Our employment project registers approximately 100 new clients each month. We have access to a large range of vacancies, and we have regular contact with employers. If you are unemployed, or are considering a career change, higher or further education, then our team will be pleased to help you to explore all possible options.

To see a WATCH Employment Advisor you can either book an appointment or drop-in to the centre to discuss your needs.

Clients receive assistance in: CV preparation, interview techniques, filling out application forms, referral to ESOL courses, and referrals to various training opportunities in Coventry (universities, colleges, employment workshops at WATCH) and also childcare or other barrier breaking request through LEGI / DAF.

Clients also use the resources of the centre (lists of current job vacancies, the job section of the Coventry  Telegraph, the Internet, free employment-related telephone calls, stationery, mailing, free use of our fax) to assist themselves.

Our employment projects are currently funded by LEGI, DAF and ESF.
