Community Radio
The Hillz Radio is a community radio station primarily
for young people aged 13-19. We run training programmes and
accredited courses through the OCN (Open College Network). People
are taught how to use the mixing desk, microphones, computers and
equipment, so that they can produce a radio show.

Our next four-week broadcast on the FM is taking place
from 16th June through to 13th July. The station broadcast
its first temporary FM licence in June 2005.
Between 4-week FM licenses, we regularly broadcast on the
Internet. We have applied for a full time licence and are hoping to
have a response by early July 2008.
