Working At WATCH

We have no job vacancies at present.

However, we are looking for volunteers.

We host people on 13-week job placements (for at least 3 days per week) at WATCH.

As well, we are specifically looking for volunteers in the following areas:

Reception Assistant

You would be providing assistance to our full-time receptionist as first point of contact for the organisation. You will help monitor the number of clients visiting the centre, answer incoming calls, and deal with in/outgoing post. You will use our in-house database and update data. You will also conduct other relevant administration tasks. Some previous customer service/reception skills would be an advantage. some IT knowledge will also be required. You might be studying for a NVQ in administration and need a one day per week placement or similar. Also, individuals may wish to refresh their reception/office administration skills following a period of long-term unemployment.

IT/Administration Assistant

You would work in our busy IT centre, assisting our IT tutor in supporting learners with their courses. You will assist with administrative tasks, and record/update information for student enrolments. You will asst with the recording and monitoring of information required by our funding providers. Some previous customer service skills would be an advantage. IT knowledge will also be required. This opportunity would suit an individual who is studying and working towards a teaching/tutor qualification.
